Basant Panchami is one of the seasonal festivals which marks the arrival of spring season. It heralds the advent of spring. It is been celebrating by propitiating. Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of music & knowledge. It is celebrated every year on the fifth day of Magh month according to Hindu calendar. In this festival all Indians wear yellow garments as a symbolic sign of veneration to goddess Saraswati. It bids farewell to winter and relieves us of bitting cold waves of the winter. The nature which remains under the clouds of snow comes out and sparkles with full bloom of the youth and beauty. Smooth and glossy leaves grow on trees and little birds give us their sweet notes which entertain us. Our heart and soul are filled with joy and all Indian people get a new lease of life which looks bright and beautiful.
